Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RmWatermark ("we", "us") handles your information when you use https://removegeminiwatermark.net (the "Service"). If you have any questions, contact us at support@removegeminiwatermark.net.

Summary

  • Free watermark removal runs locally in your browser by default — those images are not uploaded to us.
  • If you choose the optional AI mode, your image is uploaded, processed by us and our AI processing partners, and automatically deleted after processing.
  • We use Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent via our cookie banner.
  • We may show advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense and Adsterra. Google personalized ads and Google ad cookies remain controlled by advertising consent, but Adsterra and designated third-party ad scripts (including Social Bar) may load automatically when you visit pages (see "Advertising").
  • You can change or withdraw your consent-managed cookie choices anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer. The ads choice does not block Adsterra.

Images You Process

Free mode (default)

  • Processing happens locally in your browser using Web Workers.
  • Your images are not uploaded to our servers in this mode.

Optional AI mode (including Pro features)

  • When you explicitly choose AI-powered removal, your image is securely uploaded over HTTPS.
  • Images are stored temporarily in our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and may be sent to specialized AI processing partners (for example Replicate or Fal.ai) solely to perform the removal you requested.
  • Uploaded images and results are automatically deleted after processing and are never used to train AI models or for advertising.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address — account management and important service notifications.
  • Authentication data — securely stored credentials or OAuth identifiers (Google/GitHub sign-in).
  • Usage records — daily processing counts, credits, and subscription status, used to enforce plan limits.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, or Creem). Your card or account details are submitted directly to the payment provider; we never receive or store full payment card numbers. We receive only the information needed to confirm your purchase (e.g., transaction ID, plan, and billing status).

Analytics

With your consent, we use the following services to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — page views, approximate location (city level), device and browser information. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — heatmaps and session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) to find usability problems. Text you type and images you process are masked where supported.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) — privacy-friendly, cookie-free performance and traffic measurement.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies or similar identifiers only after you grant analytics consent in our cookie banner.

Advertising

We may display advertising to support the free Service, including ads served by Google AdSense, Adsterra (including Social Bar), and other advertising networks.

  • Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Adsterra and designated third-party ad scripts may load automatically when you visit pages, even if you choose "Essential only" or turn off ads in "Cookie settings". These scripts may process technical/device data and may set or read cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers under their own policies.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opting out: you may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices (or www.youronlinechoices.com in the EU).
  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google AdSense personalized advertising, Google personalized ads, and Google advertising cookies or similar identifiers are used only with your consent, collected via a Google-certified consent management platform. Without that Google advertising consent, Google serves only non-personalized ads (or no ads). This does not mean Adsterra loading or personalization is controlled by our cookie banner.
  • For Google AdSense and Google personalized advertising, Google advertising cookies or similar identifiers are used only after you grant advertising consent where our cookie banner controls them.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We group the cookies and similar identifiers managed by our cookie banner into three categories:

  1. Essential — session, security, language preference, and your cookie choices. These are required for the Service to work and do not need consent.
  2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (see "Analytics"). Set only with your consent.
  3. Advertising — Google advertising cookies and Google personalized advertising controls (see "Advertising"). Set only with advertising consent where our cookie banner controls them. This ads choice does not block Adsterra or designated third-party ad scripts that may load automatically as described above.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you "Accept all" or choose "Essential only". You can change or withdraw your consent-managed choices at any time via "Cookie settings" in the page footer — withdrawing is as easy as consenting. The Adsterra/Social Bar scripts described above may still load even if you reject advertising cookies in Cookie settings.

How We Use Information

  1. Service delivery — processing your watermark removal requests and managing plan limits.
  2. Account management — sign-in, subscriptions, credits, and support.
  3. Service improvement — aggregate analytics and error diagnostics.
  4. Advertising — displaying ads and supporting the free Service as described above.
  5. Communication — service updates and replies to your requests.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the following service providers and third parties used to run or support the Service:

  • Hosting & infrastructure: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, DDoS protection).
  • AI processing partners: e.g. Replicate, Fal.ai — only for images you explicitly submit to AI mode; deleted after processing.
  • Payment providers: Stripe, PayPal, Creem.
  • Analytics providers: Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare (see "Analytics").
  • Advertising partners: Google AdSense, Adsterra, and other ad networks (see "Advertising").
  • Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Retention

  • Images (free mode): never received by us.
  • Images (AI mode): deleted automatically after processing.
  • Account data: kept while your account is active; deleted upon account deletion request.
  • Analytics data: retained in aggregated/anonymized form per each provider's retention settings.

International Transfers

We operate on a global cloud infrastructure. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required (e.g., for EEA/UK users), transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and similar laws), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate data;
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Data portability — receive a copy in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent for consent-managed processing at any time (via "Cookie settings" for consent-managed cookies or by contacting us) without affecting prior processing;
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@removegeminiwatermark.net. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

  • Contract — providing the Service you request (processing images, managing accounts).
  • Consent — analytics cookies, Google personalized advertising/Google ad cookies where consent is requested, marketing emails.
  • Legitimate interests — securing the Service, preventing abuse, essential operations.
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and lawful requests.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not serve personalized advertising to users we know to be children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all transfers, isolated processing environments, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via a prominent notice on the website (and by email for registered users where appropriate). The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
